What is happening in Kalikata? Around 2002/2003, AMPS split into two (Ranchi and Kalikata). There was anger and disappointment over this split. However, on March 27, 2011, with the support of the family Margiis and a few WTs, a Purodha Pramuka was appointed to lead the United Administration with a specific purpose: to unite the divided organization.
It was a highly unexpected decision for Margii to become PP, but the specific purpose made it acceptable. Furthermore, a promise was made in front of the gathering that he would achieve unity within three years or resign.
The result was good, as evidenced by the significant work and service output from the Kalikata administration between 2011 and 2019. The PP, who also served as president, did not intervene. All WTs operated independently and were led by sectorial and regional Workers.
The lack of experience in organizational work led to a focus on assets and properties. Three years passed, which was still acceptable. However, disregarding Baba’s procedural order outlined in Caryacarya, PP later began using his position as president to maintain his role indefinitely, not allow anyone to criticize his authority, and not cross his jurisdiction. He claimed ownership of the Microvita Medicine Project and put it under his name. Lacking financial transparency and a treasury system, Workers started questioning.
Denying the promise of 2011, 13 years have already gone by. Typical poor leadership and mistakes foster an atmosphere of mistrust, fear, and low motivation among the affected members; stagnation stems from weakened organizational morale and work outcomes.
