For those who have not previously received our mailings, or wish to review, please find below the basic concepts of AMPS Unity proposed approach.

There are a few undisputed facts:

  • Baba created a single organisation, AMPS, with a single administration;
  • Around 2002/2003, it split into two, and then later other smaller admins formed;
  •  None of the administrations are based on Caryacarya. All are based on some form of narrow sentiment or groupism. Groupism is against the spirit of dharma;
  • There have been many meetings, based on negotiations with the various groups, to resolve this division;
  • After more than 20 years of negotiations with the group-based administrations, zero progress has been made toward restoring the single administration which Baba created;
  • Rather group-based administrations are becoming increasingly entrenched and institutionalized;

Hence, a new strategy that is outside of the group-based administrations is called for.

Thus, the vision of this movement is

To move towards a single united, inclusive, transparent, and ideological Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, operating as per Caryacarya, procedure orders and other documented organisational instructions given by Baba, with an administration functioning responsively to the needs of the mission of Ananda Marga.

Objectives:

  1. Collectively develop a transitional process to move towards a united organisation;
  2. A key criteria is that it has the support of or be consistent with Caryacarya;
  3. Hold discussions with both WTs and senior Grhiis to gain support for the process;
  4. Widen the discussion to gain further support and commitment;
  5. Implement it.
